I did this in the wrong order. I should have done a user flow + wireframe first, before going into the design of the product.

In a wireframe, we figure out what elements should be we including, what is the flow of the user, what features should we include, etc.

It should be done with pen and paper to allow for maximum flexibility in drawing out these ideas.
