Overview

We're looking for a teacher to test out a new Chinese language learning style. We have some students that are willing to try this out for a 8-day trial. If it works out, we hope to turn this into a monthly class.

Here's how the idea works:

• Every day, students will prepare Chinese "mini-speeches" with their teacher. They'll record a video of their speeches and share in our WeChat group (our classroom)
• The teacher will provide speech prompts every morning. These prompts will be recorded by video. The teacher can also give an example response. These prompts can focus on new vocabulary words or grammar structures.
• The videos will include Chinese and English subtitles. At first, I will help add the subtitles. Eventually, teachers are expected to add the subtitles themselves. We have software to automatically generate the Chinese and English subtitles. We just need teachers to verify that the subtitles are correct, and edit them as needed. I can help verify the English translations
• The teachers will correct the student's speeches and record a better video so students can refer to them and practice.

Chinese teacher recruitment

I'm currently looking for a teacher to conduct an 8-day trial with friends.

• Trial is from Friday 30th July to Friday 6th August.
• Trial will include 5 foreign students based in Shanghai + myself, all HSK 3 and above.

If this trial is successful, we'll launch a full 28-day program.

Trial interview

To find the right teacher, I'd like to first practice with you for 2 days. This way I can test your teaching methodology and see if you're a right fit.

This is a job interview, but I am also paying you for your time.
